My house is sorted and i'm moving in this Friday

I've got a splitting headache (again), probably being dehydrated again.
Done TV-L, BT still need to do Gas, Elec, Council and Water companies.

I start work at the uni next monday.

I'm 22, far far too old :)

I've got 70.8% as my final grade (if i've calculated it correctly). Which should be a first.

So I helped my dad out monitoring the count that took place this morning. Quite interesting the system they used since it all the wards were up for election.
Took from 10am-2ishpm although this wasn't the worse (birmingham is still counting).

Unfortunatly the counters are not allowed to bring food or drink and at 2pm everyone was hungry.

One of the spoilt ballot papers had the letters 'BNP' (for the british national party, a right-wing "we don't like foreigners/recent immigrents" party. One of the conservative monitors said "I can see where he's coming from, It's all very nice visiting the carabian, nice beaches, nice weathers but not a 'white' person in sight.", My step-mom and the counter both appeared to be thinking "Oh bob, did he really just say that?"

These figures are not directly comparable because of boundary changes in the ward however. Edwards (my step-brother) girlfriends mother got in with 1493 votes.

Good laugh anyway.

Today Tony Blair decided to visit a school in the area my dad is standing in for the local elections. Got two pages in the local rag about the visit http://www.expressandstar.com/artman/publish/article_59673.php. He's a bit chuffed about the whole thing. Distributed a few pamplets for him later in the day.

Rather humorously the conservatives have put their signs up using a yellowy-orange backgroudn to them which to most people seems to be a libdem sign.
And it's far far too hot.

I've moved out the house in Leicester, gone to live with my parents for a bit.
Had to hire a van to fit all my stuff in. Still ache from yesterday

So anyway, this was the last day for me to give my three-monthly sample of blood.
I had to go to the leicester royal to give it because of staff-shortages in my local GPs. the blood test i have to give requires me not to eat since midnight the previous night. A doctor saw me, asked me if he could also take a sample for medical research purposes which i agreed to and signed the form.
Anyway, he took the sample and after a minute or two, stood up to leave, my vision went fuzzy and I apparently walked into a door and collapsed on the floor.
When I came to the doc gave me some water and checked I was okay. My glasses were unfortunatly bent and I had to go to spec savers to get them unbent.

My shoulder and knee hurt for quite a while afterwards.

Anyway, at least the doctors didn't have a boring day.

I need to do some remote method call, but I don't like the latency that XML-RPC provides so I'm gonna have to hand roll my own protocol, *sigh*.
SimpleServer looks interesting.

So 4 years have passed and i've finally finished (I hope) this university thing.
Trying to think what to do now, and so I code and code and waste my printer credit.

so anyway, here's my 9 millionth attempt to write a journal, this will no doubt become inactive within two weeks.
